Payments, Returns, and Cancellations Policy

At Rumba 2 Go, we are committed to ensuring the satisfaction of both our customers and service partners. We strive to provide a reliable and fair service experience while complying with all applicable consumer protection laws in the United States.
This policy outlines how we handle payments, cancellations, refunds, and special circumstances.
Reservations and Deposits
When booking a service through Rumba 2 Go, customers are required to pay an initial deposit to secure the reservation of a service provider. This deposit guarantees the availability of the assigned worker on the chosen date and time.
- Deposits are securely held by Rumba 2 Go until the service is completed.
- Once the service is confirmed as complete, the service provider’s payment is deducted directly from the deposit.
Cancellations and Refunds
1. Cancellations by the Customer
- Customers may cancel their service at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund of their deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service will incur a 50% cancellation fee based on the total cost of the service.
2. Cancellations by the Service Provider
- Providers may cancel service appointments at any time.
- However, cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a recorded warning.
- Accumulating three warnings may lead to temporary suspension or permanent deactivation from the platform.
- If a provider fails to show up without prior notice, the customer is entitled to a full refund of the deposit and the option to request a replacement service the same day.
3. Cancellations by Rumba 2 Go
- Rumba 2 Go reserves the right to cancel any service due to operational, logistical, or safety reasons.
- In such cases, customers will be offered either:
- A full refund, or
- A free rescheduling of the service at a later date.
Modifying Reservations
If you need to reschedule a service, please contact our support team at least 24 hours in advance. We will assist in coordinating a new time with your assigned service provider.
Special Circumstances & Force Majeure
If a cancellation or modification is due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, medical emergencies), Rumba 2 Go will review each case individually and may provide a full refund at our discretion.
Refund Processing
Refunds are issued using the same payment method used during the reservation.
Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your financial institution.
Disputes
If you encounter an issue with your service, please contact our support team within 24 hours of service completion.
We will investigate and aim to resolve all complaints within 5 business days.
Providing false information during a dispute is a violation of our Terms and Conditions and may result in the denial of the refund request and potential deactivation of the account.
Liability and Damages
Rumba 2 Go is not liable for material losses or property damage during a service unless an investigation confirms proven negligence on the part of the service provider.
Anti-Discrimination Commitment
We strictly prohibit any form of discrimination. We take measures to ensure all users and workers are treated fairly, equally, and with respect in every interaction on our platform.
Return & Complaint Eligibility
Customers may request a return or service adjustment if:
- The service received significantly differs from what was requested.
- The service provider failed to meet quality standards.
- Other legitimate concerns arise, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
All requests must be submitted within 24 hours of service completion to be eligible for review.
Policy Updates
Rumba 2 Go reserves the right to modify this Payments, Returns, and Cancellations Policy at any time.
Customers and service providers will be notified of significant changes through our website and/or direct communication.
